Birth flower for December 14
Northpole daisy
Meaning: sincerity
Northpole daisy is a favorite for winter and spring flower beds, where a single plant can carry dozens of small white daisies with large, bright yellow centers. The name North Pole began as a trade name from a Japanese seed company, comparing a plant full of white blooms to an arctic snowfield, and it stuck as the common name. It handles cold well, so it is one of the few flowers that fills winter beds.
