Birth flower for October 25
Heavenly Blue morning glory
Meaning: strong bonds
Heavenly Blue is the best-known cultivar of Ipomoea tricolor, selected in the United States in the 1930s. Its clear sky-blue trumpets have a white-to-yellow throat. It starts later than the Japanese morning glory, peaking from late summer into autumn and blooming on until late in the year, and its flowers often stay open longer into the day.
