Birth flower for October 5
White spider lily
Meaning: looking forward to meeting again
The white spider lily is thought to be a natural hybrid between the red spider lily and the yellow golden spider lily, which is why its petals often carry a hint of cream or pink. Like its red parent, its flowers and leaves never appear together. It is most common in Kyushu and western Japan, sometimes blooming among red ones.
