Casablanca lily
Meaning: Nobility
Casablanca is an Oriental hybrid lily bred in the Netherlands in the 1980s from lilies native to Japan, such as the golden-rayed lily. Its huge pure white flowers and heavy perfume earned it the title queen of lilies, and it is a favorite in bridal bouquets. Florists often pinch off the anthers because the orange pollen stains clothing.
