Birth flower for November 25
Blue Moon rose
Meaning: miracles, impossible dreams
Blue Moon is a hybrid tea introduced by Tantau of Germany in 1964. Its color is really a soft lilac, but at the time it was one of the closest things to a blue rose, hence the name. It has a strong citrusy scent. A rose with true blue pigment was only produced in the 2000s, through genetic engineering.
