Garlic vine
Meaning: cheerfulness
Crush a leaf of garlic vine and it smells just like garlic; in its native range it is sometimes used as a garlic substitute in cooking. Each flower opens a deep purple and fades over a few days to lavender and nearly white, so one cluster often shows several shades at once. In Taiwan it turns whole walls purple in autumn.
