Birth flower for April 7
Baby blue eyes
Meaning: Success everywhere
Nemophila means 'grove-loving' in Greek, but most people know it by its sweet nickname, baby blue eyes, for its sky-blue petals and white centers. It became world-famous thanks to Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki, Japan, where millions of nemophila cover Miharashi Hill each spring, so the blue of the flowers seems to melt into the sky.
