Double anemone
Meaning: i believe in you and wait
Anemone comes from the Greek word for wind. Double forms grow several rings of narrow petals inside the broad outer ones, and the St Brigid strain bred in Ireland in the nineteenth century is famous for its double and semi-double blooms. The frilly collar of leaves just below the flower looks like a tiny scarf.
